The Forum for Joint ATN-ISTA Research Network in Nanotechnology
was held in Southeast University on 30 Jun - 1 Jul.
The Forum brought together accomplished and emergent
researchers from 10 ATN and ISTA member institutes to
explore collaboration opportunities in the R&D and
applications of nanotechnology.

Executive Committee Meeting, 2008 |

The 1st Meeting of the 5th Executive
Committee was held in Tsinghua University, Beijing on
22 May 2008. Delegates from the Executive Committee
institutes and the Technology Development Centre of
the Ministry of Education, P.R.C. attended the meeting.
In the meeting, Tsinghua University shared with the
participants the experience of technology commercialization
and academic-industrial collaboration. The strategic
directions of ISTA in strengthening internationalization,
student entrepreneurship and higher education management
were also discussed.
After the meeting, the delegates visited the R&D
Centre of Nuctech Company Limited, a technology spin-off
of Tsinghua University.

Equity Forum was held on 11-12 Apr 2008 in Shenzhen.
With the theme of "Fostering the Most Favourable
