Hosted by Management and Executive Development Centre of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the Higher Education Leadership Development Programme 2009 was held in Hong Kong on 12-16 March. The Programme provided an exchange platform for leaders and senior executives from member institutes to appreciate the current trends, practices and challenges of the higher education sector from international experts. Through seminars and small group learning exercises, participants are challenged to apply innovative thinking to lead their institutions to even higher grounds.

In the 5-day programme, over 30 executive leaders, under the facilitation of invited experts, discussed in-depth the current issues and challenges confronting the higher education institutions.
