Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Southeast
University, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and
Wuhan University of Technology jointly participated
in the 37th
International Exhibition of Inventions, New Techniques
and Products, Geneva, Switzerland on 1-5 April 2009.
This was the first time ever mainland Chinese universities
participating in this international event. Amidst over
1000 contesting entries from over 45 countries, all
of the nine inventions from these four ISTA member universities
were highly praised by the judging panels and were awarded
prizes and honours listed below.

The Secretariat will continue to organize joint ISTA
participation in international invention expos for broader
exposure of research achievements to entrepreneurs and
investors interested in university-industry collaboration.
The reputation gained from award credentials will further
promote the goodwill of the technologies and products
concerned in their commercialization process.
