46th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva

ISTA Secretariat coordinated twelve member universities (including Beijing Normal University, Dalian University of Technology, Fudan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Nanjing University, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Peking University, Southeast University, Tsinghua University, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, Zhejiang University and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University) to jointly participate in the 46th International Exhibition of Inventions which was held in Geneva between 11 and 15 April of 2018.

57 inventions were showcased along with more than 1,000 other entries from 40 countries. All the inventions from ISTA were highly praised by the judging panels and won a total of 65 awards including 4 grand prizes, 11 special gold medals, 26 gold medals, 15 silver medals, 4 bronze medals and 5 special awards. The ISTA exhibits had also attracted massive media coverage and attention from international experts and participants.

ISTA member universities had achieved outstanding results in the exhibition for ten years in a row, a solid proof on their research capabilities, which are internationally acclaimed.

The active participation in the International Exhibition of Invention provides ISTA member universities an opportunity to showcase their scientific and technological achievements and to facilitate international exchanges and collaborations.  The Secretariat will continue to support ISTA members to join distinctive exhibitions held around the globe, encouraging technological innovation and participation in international exchanges; and to foster co-operations with members in the industry and investors from worldwide, promoting the fruit of researches in China to the world.
